Our design service translates your draft or concept into a complete, machine-ready format. This is a one-time cost per unique design and does not apply to additional copies since no further designing is required.

If you can provide a complete vector file that you want cut/engraved as is, no design service is necessary. Otherwise, whether you need us to create something from scratch or you have a partial design that needs tweaking, we're here to help.

To allow for flexible pricing, the cost is based on the estimated time to design your project. We expect most requests to fall within $5 (basic) –⁠ $67.50 (complex), though specific price ranges vary by product type. Placard designs generally range $5 –⁠ $45. The price for your specific project is determined when you request a quote.

Setup involves converting your design file into a machine-ready format. If you should need design services, this fee is included in the design cost. Otherwise, we charge $5.00 per new design.

Vector graphics are computer graphics composed of geometric shapes which can be scaled to any size. This is opposed to raster graphics, which are made of pixels and can't be scaled up without losing clarity.

  • PDF

Tip: Some file types (e.g., PDF) can contain either graphic type. One way to tell the difference between a vector and a raster is to zoom in on the graphic. If it remains sharp, it's likely a vector; if it becomes pixelated/blurry, it's likely a raster.

There are many software programs or online tools capable of creating/exporting vector files and converting other file types to vectors. However, if this isn't your thing we can do the designing for you.

This is a standard part of the quoting process. We will email you a digital proof, allowing you to confirm that our design matches your request before we continue with production.

Turnaround depends on factors including design complexity, materials required, quantity needed, and our current workload. When you request a quote, we can provide an estimation specific to your request. As a small business, we don't "guarantee" turnaround, but we do expect to meet (or beat) it.

Orders $150 or more are eligible for free, standard shipping to the contiguous United States.

We use Stripe to process payments online. A variety of payment methods are accepted, including credit & debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, and others. When ordering, we'll send you a link to the payment page.

We offer standard and expedited shipping options, usually through USPS. Rates are calculated when you request a quote.

We currently do not accept returns on non-defective products. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we'll see what we can do to make it right.
