Two-ply acrylic is an ideal material for placards. This material comes in sheets comprised of a thin cap layer, which determines the primary color of the placard, and a thicker core layer, which determines the color of the engravings. Markings are made by engraving through the cap layer to expose the contrasting core layer beneath.
These are our standard 2-ply acrylic options ideal for a variety of applications. They are durable and UV stable making them suitable for indoor/outdoor use.
If the standard options don't meet your needs, an array of other colors are available, in addition to other thicknesses. There are extra durable and even 3-ply options as well.
For these non-standard materials, buyers may be required to cover the cost of the whole sheet(s) including any applicable shipping costs. However, ordering larger quantities of signage can significantly decrease the cost per piece as more of the sheet(s) is utilized.
